1. Overview

Outkite helps creative studios manage leads, proposals, contracts, shoots, invoices and client communication. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it and the choices available to you when you use Outkite.

By using Outkite, you agree to the practices described here. We process information only for the purposes described in this policy, our Terms of Service and your instructions.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide, information created through your use of Outkite, and limited technical information.

  • Account information: name, email address, password credentials and profile details.
  • Studio information: business name, branding, contact details, packages, pricing and team membership.
  • Client information: details you add about your clients, events, leads and contacts. You are responsible for having the appropriate permission to add this information.
  • Content: proposals, contracts, messages, notes, invoices, uploaded files and other material you choose to store.
  • Billing information: subscription and transaction details. Payment card data is handled by our payment processor and is not stored by Outkite.
  • Usage and device information: browser, device, log, approximate location, pages viewed and feature interaction data used to operate and improve the service.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • provide, maintain and personalize Outkite;
  • authenticate accounts, protect the service and prevent abuse;
  • process subscriptions, payments and account changes;
  • send service notices, security alerts and support replies;
  • understand performance, troubleshoot issues and improve features;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your client content to advertise to your clients.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Outkite uses cookies and similar storage technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences such as theme and language, and understand how the service is used. See our Cookie Policy for details and browser controls.

5. When we share information

We share information only when needed to run Outkite or when the law requires it.

  • Service providers: hosting, storage, email, analytics, customer support and payment providers that process data on our instructions.
  • Your instructions: when you invite a team member, send a proposal or otherwise choose to share content through the product.
  • Legal and safety reasons: to respond to lawful requests, protect people and property, investigate abuse or enforce our terms.
  • Business changes: in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

We require service providers to protect information and use it only for the services they provide to us.

6. Data retention

We retain information while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide Outkite, resolve disputes, meet contractual and legal obligations, and enforce our agreements. Retention varies by the type and sensitivity of information.

You can ask us to delete your account or specific information. We may retain limited information where required by law or where necessary for legitimate business records, security and fraud prevention.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your personal information, or object to certain processing. You can update much of your account information from Outkite settings.

To make a privacy request, email hello@outkite.com. We may verify your identity before completing a request and will respond within the time required by applicable law.

8. Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted connections, access controls, authentication and backups. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong password and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorized access.

9. Children's privacy

Outkite is a business service and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as Outkite changes. We will update the date above and, when changes are material, provide additional notice through the service or by email.
